I'm a little sad to think that this was the last day I worked on this quilt. She has been my companion almost every day for the last three years, mentally if not physically. On the other hand, how proud to have reached the result that I see.
On the first picture, the last stitches, sewing the bias border.
A very simple label on the back.
And here it is!
Another very nice pattern, with beautiful applique flowers, is waiting on the sewing table.
À la prochaine!
Céline

RépondreSupprimerOh my gosh!!!! It is BEAUTIFUL!!! And I do know that feeling of not knowing quite what you're feeling when you finish a masterpiece that has been with you for years - it's like a friend has walked out the door, almost. I can't wait to see what your new pattern is. And what a pretty thimble to have been using on your Baltimore garden quilt.
