Here is the fourth bouquet for the Secret Garden Quilt, designed by Esther Aliu. It was a 2017 mystery quilt. I'm now ready to go back on work with this quilt.
Voici le 4ème bouquet de la courtepointe mystère 2017 Secret Garden, d'Esther Aliu.
Je suis maintenant prête à reprendre l'assemblage de cette courtepointe. Tous les blocs à coudre sont terminés. Il y a eu le chat caché, la chaîne cachée, la clé cachée et maintenant on aperçoit le cadenas.
Cependant, je trouve le cadenas bien ordinaire. Peut-être vais-je rajouter quelques éléments de broderie pour lui donner un aspect spécial. Le feuillage m'a donné, je ne sais pourquoi, une difficulté supplémentaire. Et on se rappelle que j'ai dû le reprendre car je l'ai fait à l'envers si je compare avec le patron original. Ce sera mon bouquet spécial à moi.

Pretty! Either some embroidery or fancy quilting for the padlock would be nice. It must feel good to have all the blocks now and be ready to assemble the top.

RépondreSupprimerA beautiful beautiful block of The Secret Garden Celine. I agree with you about a touch of embroidery, tracy the filigree work it will give the padlock the zing it needs. love the colours you have used I still have not finsihed mine!!!! Cheers Glenda
