Last corner...Le dernier coin...

For 6 months, I worked on Disney Princesses quilt.  Now, top is done and is ready for machine quilting.  I'm back to my Baltimore Garden Quilt to finish the top.  On the picture below, you'll see the last red arcade to hand applique and I'll add some flowers with stems on  the 4 corners.
Soon, I'll post a picture of the entire quilt.  It's really beautiful.

Depuis janvier dernier, je travaillais sur la courtepointe des Princesses de Disney.  Je suis maintenant à faire le piquage de celle-ci.  
Je reprends donc ma courtepointe Baltimore pour terminer le dessus le plus rapidement possible.  
Sur la photo, en rouge, c'est la dernière arcade à appliquer à la main pour que les bordures extérieures soient reliées entièrement.  Il restera 8-9 fleurs et tiges à coudre sur les pointes de ces 4 arcades de coin pour que le dessus soit terminé.  Ce sera, je l'espère, rapide.  
Je publierai bientôt une photo de la courtepointe entière.  Elle est magnifique.

Il me faut commencer à chercher un nom significatif  pour celle-ci.

  1. Definitely a change from the Disney Princess quilt, which was also amazing but very, very different from the Baltimore applique! Sometimes switching to something different is exactly what we need to get into the groove again. I'm looking forward to seeing your beautiful Baltimore project!

  3. It seems that long term projects don't faze you at all. Wonderful. I think we are all hoping to see the whole Baltimore Garden quilt.
