Slow quilting time...Session de piquage lent...

J'ai eu du temps de libre pour assembler en panneaux ma Dear Jane.  Prête à être piquer.  L'assemblage final sera fait comme une réversible.

My Dear Jane is now ready for quilting. 



Je pique avec le pied marcheur, lentement... très lentement!
I quilt with the walking foot on, slowly...slowly...



Le résultat est très subtil, à l'endos!

    Wow, congratulations on your progress on the Dear Jane quilt!! Did you quilt all of it with the walking foot? also the curvy lines? It looks just amazing!!

    Wow, je n'ai jamais essayé de couper un projet en petits morceaux. J'ai toujours la vague impression que l'assemblage final sera plus pénible que le trouble de tout piquer un un seul morceau. C'est vrai que je me limite habituellement à des grandeurs autour de 60x72, donc beaucoup plus petit que ce projet. Je vous félicite pour tout votre piquage, piquer dans les coutures est fatidieux mais vaut tellement la peine.

    Way to go!!! I ***still*** have to quilt my Dear Jane, which has been a finished top for about a year now. I'd considered trying to quilt it in sections like you are doing, but I'd never done that before and didn't trust myself to get it "right" for matching up afterward. So impressed that you're getting yours finished. :D

    Now I am back from holiday, I really need to focus on mine.
    I see you are machine quilting yours. I plan to hand quilt mine, but secretly I would rather do it by machine. Shh!
