My ''block Michigan'' quilt will now be called ''Vibrations''. I found this name on the selvage of the inner border fabric: ''Good vibrations'' by Whistler Studios, Windham Fabrics. I like it!
Voici où je suis rendue avec celle-ci:
So far:
|
Avec la bordure intérieure (non cousue)
With unsewn inner border |
I kept the paper on all the blocks all around of this quilt center in order to avoid the stretching of the side of the quilt. I will sew the inner border and then, I will take off all this paper...finally! Now, a good pressing of all those seam allowances.
I will participate at a quilt retreat and my inner and outside borders will be sewn at that time.
À la prochaine!

Love the quilt... and the new name! What a stroke of genius! Looks fantastic!
RépondreSupprimerLovely quilt! I really like paper piecing, but not removing the paper!
RépondreSupprimerGreat name for a quilt! Clever to keep the paper on to the last. This quilt is going to be a beauty!
RépondreSupprimerStunning! So many pretty colors!
